Nabokov's Notebook

Nabokov's Notebook A blog about the science in art and the art in science.
"I discovered in nature the nonutilitarian delights that I sought in art. Both were a form of magic, both were a game of intricate enchantment and deception." -Vladimir Nabokov (Writer, Lepidopterist.)

I recently posted a panel of Feynman, a graphic novel by Jim Ottaviani.  Ottaviani also co-authored a graphic account of Niels Bohr’s life with artist Leland Purvis in 2005. Their concept of communicating scientific history through comics was inspired by Chick publishing tracts railing against evolutionary biology.
I think what they are doing is fantastic, and I would like to see scientific discourse extend into creative media more often.
